First impression

Here you’ll also find the switch for the outdoor lighting and the control panel for the alarm system. This makes it a highly practical entrance for day-to-day use. However, the ‘official’ entrance is located to the front of the property, where the front door leads into an attractive, spacious entrance hall. Here, too, you’ll find coat closets, plus the mains fuse box and downstairs toilet with stunning, natural stone wall tiles. Ground floor overview

The latter comprises a huge living and work space which allows you to relax or work separately from one another, but without being completely closed off. Professional kitchen
The kitchen has concrete worktops with the same look and feel as the floors: hard, but velvety. Since the light changes depending on the weather, you feel in touch with the elements all year round. Adjacent to the kitchen, the spacious dining area seems to invite the garden indoors, thanks to the floor to ceiling windows on all sides.

Relaxing, working and playing
The sitting room also harnesses the garden to optimum effect, with multiple floor to ceiling windows and large French doors opening onto the terrace. The latter serves as an extension to the living room, in part thanks to its own standalone terrace heaters. In the sitting room itself, an open gas fireplace and large TV are subtly embedded within the wall, alongside elegant built-in shelves on one side. Next to the lounge area is the extension: a large, two-person office which would also make an ideal workshop or studio. Benefiting from built-in cupboards and bookshelves, this room is flooded with light from windows on both sides and from a skylight in the flat roof. The double doors between the office from the sitting room offer maximum flexibility; they can be closed to separate the spaces where desired, or opened up to blend the rooms together. This office would also make the perfect playroom: by closing the glass door, the noise will be reduced while you can still keep an eye on what’s going on!

Bedrooms and spa
From the hall, a white wooden staircase leads up to the first floor, where the master bedroom with its own spa deserves special mention. This is situated centrally in the home and, as well as several small windows, also benefits from another sun tunnel which draws in light from the outside. There are large wall units, an extremely wide double Corian washbasin with ten drawers, a walk-in shower with two rain shower heads, a separate two-person bath with TV and a fantastic lounging area with – smartly concealed under a pull-out couch – another built-in laundry chute to the laundry room. No more struggling down the stairs with a basket full of damp towels! The master bedroom itself is extremely light, thanks to the windows looking out over the garden. Note the stylish dressing table between the two large windows. According to the current owners, the master en suite is one of their favourite places in the house to relax. As mentioned, the laundry chutes lead to the basement, which has two entrances: one from the utility room and one directly from the outside.
